Field Day is an annual event sponsored by the American Radio Relay League (ARRL). It is an effort by amateur radio operators (hams) to gain publicity for their hobby, to show that they can quickly set up emergency communications in the field and contact many others participating in the event. Clubs such as MARC as well as individuals and small non-club groups participate and have a great time.

This year (2025) Field Day was, again, a joint effort combining the efforts of the Yellowstone Radio Club and those of the Musselshell Amateur Radio Club.
