Use the tool below to calculate the length for a standard dipole antenna. Enter the frequency in MHz and the result will be the length of one leg in feet.

You'll need wire, a center insulator, end insulators, support ropes and some 50 ohm coax. The resonant frequency is affected by external conditions, so cut two lengths of wire a bit longer than shown above. Connect it as shown in the picture and away you go. If the resonant frequency is a little low you can snip off a bit of wire from each element.
